lukeavfc (Aston Villa) : I have it on very good knowledge that Martin O'Neill is strongly pursuing Martin Petrov and Michael Johnson from Man City. There is also rumours of a swap deal including Heskey, Nathan Delfouneso (Loan) and cash to go to West Ham with Carlton Cole going to Aston Villa.

Ireland to join Gunners?
HpSaucy (Portsmouth) : Arsenal to bring in Stephen Ireland because he has handed in a transfer request at Man City. Arsenal are also looking at more players for young squads, players like Chris Eagles(Burnley), Adam Johnson (Boro), George Boyd(Peterborough), Jack Rodwell (Everton) and Jack Collison(West Ham). Arsene Wenger has been given around 35m for January so let's hope he uses it.

gunnergunudown (Arsenal) : Heard that Rafa is set to jump ships and move back to Spain with Real Madrid. Liverpool, with their financial problems, cannot afford to sack Rafa but if he goes willingly then he gets nothing of course. Mancini is in the running along with Dalglish. Also Di Matteo could be in the running to return to the Premiership with Hull. It remains to be seen if Di Matteo is tempted to move to the EPL for a struggling side or stay with his High flying leaders.
