David Roberts won his fourth gold medal of the Beijing Paralympics with victory in the S7 50 metres freestyle.
The Pontypridd swimmer now has 11 golds during his career, putting him level with Tanni Grey-Thompson as Great Britain's most decorated Paralympian.
Another Briton, Matt Walker, followed Roberts home for silver to take his personal collection to five - a relay gold, two silvers and two bronze.
Eleanor Simmonds, the youngest member of the British team, smashed her own world record to win the women's S6 100m freestyle.
The 13-year-old Swansea swimmer now has two golds in her collection, having triumphed in the 400m freestyle earlier in the week.
Team-mates Nyree Lewis and Mhari Love finished sixth and seventh respectively.
Simmonds' triumph came after Matt Whorwood won bronze in the corresponding men's event.
Over at the Bird's Nest, sprinter John McFall won bronze in the men's T42 100m behind Canada's Earle Connor, who set a Paralympic record of 12.32s.
Chin denied
But there was disappointment for Rebecca Chin, who was told she "no longer fits into a recognised International Paralympic Committee class" after finishing second in the F37/38 discus.
The 16-year-old will return home empty handed, although the decision appears inconsistent given that she also came 10th in the women's F37/38 shot put final earlier in the week.
A Paralympics GB statement read: "In the opinion of the functional classifier Rebecca's throwing stance was not consistent with what he saw in the shot put or the classification process and she does not meet the criteria of functional loss when she throws the discus to compete in the F38 category.
"They were unable to give Rebecca confirmation of this class in the discus competition or of her result today.
"Paralympics GB has been told that Rebecca no longer fits into a recognised IPC class."
Also on Monday, bowman John Cavanagh won silver in the men's W1 individual compound at Olympic Green Archery Field.
The 52-year-old from London, who won gold in Athens, was beaten 108-103 in the final by David Drahoninsky of the Czech Republic.
