Absolutely Incredible! Bolt, you are dee man. I just couldn't help it but just had to see you break two world records. one of your own and another that had stayed for 12 years. Now i believe you can run even faster than that if only you maintain your full speed rather than under looking your opponents. Thanks you made my day.

Drugs free maybe but gene doping will be the next big thing to tarnish the world of sport. It sickens me that people pay vast amounts of money to cheat when advancements in medicine were developed to save lives and cure illnesses not to be abused by cheats and scoundrels. I thought Usain's race in the 100 was superb, the 200 only marginally less but the face of Michael Johnson as much as I love the guy was a picture when he saw his record taken by 100th of a second. I think the hype around Bolt is hysteric but if and only if he is clean he will surely claim the mantle for now as the greatest athlete the world has seen. He runs with an amazing sense of self belief and yet manages to remain so relaxed, everyone else may as well give up for now...

Congratulations to all of you!!! Bless

I am in complete awe of this man! I cannot believe he is only 22 (Happy Birthday for today by the way!!!). What an awesome athlete and it just proves by hard work and determination that anything can be accomplished. I also love his personality - what a complete breath of fresh air. Long live the lightning bolt!!!!!

What a breath of fresh air, I quit watching the sprints years ago before BALCO was discovered. The guys up north really destroyed the spirit of the Olympics. Now the field is level again, Bolt has brought it back. Big up Jamaica

When you watch Bolt glide effortlessly along the track, others around him seem to be trying so much harder. He makes it look so ridiculously easy - thats the beauty of his sprinting. It was so frustrating, watching Bolt ease up before the line in the Final of the 100m. But then I realised, he'll want to make the most of his talent by breaking his own record again at the next major competition - world records = more sponsorship = more money! A great buisness man as well as awesome sprint champion. Please, Usain, compete in the 400m in London 2012 and lets see you break that record too!

Tut Tut.. All this talk about attitude and arrogance. Does no one realize that to be the "Fastest man on Earth" requires huge self belief and BIG ATTITUDE. It's part of what makes him fast and unbeatable. Go you good thing!!!

Bolt has certainly impressed me. I had initially tipped his countryman Asafa Powell for the 100m but with Bolt setting a new world record there, I had a strong feeling he would break Michael Johnson's record in the 200m. He was truly magnificent in the two races and will certainly spearhead Jamaica in the 4 x 100 m, which will almost certainly be won by Jamaica!

Am a Kenyan and proud of Bolt. This guy is just terrific and phenomenal. He is simply the best of the best. You can imagine the excitement among Kenyans as he cruised to the 200M world record. keep it up man.

This is the greatest sprinting of all. As long as he keeps fit and injury free the world will see greater things from Usain. Why are his detractors upset with his method of celebrating his first feat. Happy birthday to u Usain. May god continue to bless you. Your birthday is a day before mine.
