Peter Arnold says...

stunning. the guy is freakish!!!! but he had to work for that 200m WR. No showboating, it was eye balls out and shows what a hard WR the Jhonson ahd set in 96. The guy is a star and is exactly what athletics needs right now. Funny thing is that he ran 45 flat for the 400 when he was 15 years old, but doesnt like it as its to tiering. I think people like wariner and merrit will be pleased he doesnt fancy the 400. Once again, stunning!!!!

Bolt is a Superman. I think something positive is happening to Jamaican Athletics.Lets give some credit to the Jamaican Athletics committee. If this good works continue in this direction, Jamaica will rule the world of athletics for years to come.

A great success for athletics and finally good to see a new breath of fresh air into the sport. Usain Bolt is a great ambassador to athletics and lets hope that this isn't the last of him.

Ronnie Wilkinson says...

Usain Bolt is the business. If he ever tests positive the sport is finished. He has been different class since he was no age. The British and Americans sprinters are lost since Balco. The Jamacian ladies are another matter though.

Patrick Omorodion says...

What Nigerian athletes couldn't gain from America's drug disgrace, Jamaica gained through a thunderous performance from the greatest Olympian on the tracks, Usain Bolt. I just hope the Americans wouldn't come up with a voodoo logic to rubbish Bolt's achievements. Long live Jamaica

Neil Smith says...

That 200m was just from another planet. I am shocked at what i saw. I just got in from work and watched it 20 mins ago and the hairs on my neck and arms are still standing. That's what you call an electrifying run. Saw him last year in Sheffield and he looked red hot then. How fast can he go? i think 9.5s for the 100m and sub 19s for the 200m is not out of his grasp with the maximum permisible tailwind. Good on you Usain. He's a funny bloke too and a real breath of fresh air from the macho posturing aggressive attitudes from other sprinters. I'm looking forward to all the years in front of him watching this guy do this time and time again because he will. Well done Usain.
